A little update

Dear visitor,

Yesterday I celebrated my 39th birthday. Working in a busy psychiatry outpatient clinic and as senior doctor in the emergency ward while a father of two children aged ten and a half make for a busy life. There is not much time to write or make music. Then again, like a compulsion I must devote my time to the arts. But I must be somewhat rested. Today I woke up at five thirty, made lunch boxes and drove half an hour to deliver at school. I arrived at work a quarter past eight and got home a bit early seven hours later because the last patient did not meet. My hard work allows me to own an electric car that I’m very fond of. I live in my car, I drive all over southern Zealand. Within an hour is Copenhagen, Malmö and Korsør with the bridge to Odense and Jutland. Speaking of travelling, in the fall I will visit London with my eldest daughter (a birthday gift). She insisted that we visit the Harry Potter Studios. In return we will also visit the Imperial War Museum. Looking forward to that. I have not been to England since I dropped out of Warwick in 2008. I owned a beautiful edition of The Feynman Lectures but it got lost in the mail, or Kieran, my friend who is now a musician, sent the package to the wrong address, or did not send it at all. I’m just rambling, I’m doing alright and I hope you are too. In November I begin three months parental leave. Maybe then I will have more time to write and sing.

Best wishes, Martin
